Charlotte vs Virginia Tech Prediction

I’ll stick with Virginia Tech. The Hokies needed a good showing versus Saint Joseph’s in their latest outing, and they got it. Virginia Tech shot a nice 52.1 percent from the field in that one with a 37-35 rebounding edge, 50-30 on points in the paint, 23 team assists and just six turnovers. The only thing to complain about was the five of 12 missed free throws (58.3 percent). The Hokies now have 94 or more points in all three games so far.

As for Charlotte, they hit the skids against Davidson in their last outing with just 35.2 percent shooting from the field. That said, the 49ers did pretty well up front otherwise. Virginia Tech is going to be a tough opponent for them, though.

Andrew Jett's Pick: Virginia Tech Hokies -16.5
