Over on the Aggies’ side, they weren’t looking too bad in late December with a 7-4 record in the books. Losses to UNC Wilmington, Northeastern, Stony Brook, Elon, William & Mary and Hampton came next, then wins over Hofstra and Towson. Following losses to Monmouth and Drexel in the next pair, North Carolina A&T had a 9-12 record through the first 21 outings of the year.

That makes consecutive victories for the Camels with a combined 185 points scored in that pair. Campbell had lost five straight prior to that, however.
As for North Carolina A&T, they couldn’t keep pace with a pretty good Charleston team this week thanks to just 37 percent shooting, a 44-16 deficit on points in the paint and a whopping 16 turnovers. The Aggies have just two wins since December 20 and they’ve fallen in three straight games. This is a good opportunity for Campbell to get a winning streak going.
