Buffalo Bulls Betting Preview
Buffalo kicked off their season with a couple of victories. The opener was an 83-82 thriller over Old Dominion, then came an 87-78 win versus Fredonia in game two. The Bulls took their first loss in the next outing, 86-77 versus Notre Dame.
Matched up against Bryant back on Thursday, the Bulls were drilled 50-25 in the first half and ultimately limped to an 87-64 blowout loss. Leading the team in the losing effort was Ryan Sabol with 17 points, two boards, and two assists.
Vermont Catamounts Betting Preview
Over on the Catamounts’ side, they were able to power their way past UAB in their opener, taking a 67-62 win. Vermont hasn’t tasted victory since then, however, falling to Auburn 94-43 and Merrimack 65-51 in the next two games.
The Catamounts took another loss on Friday versus Iona, but this one was pretty close. Vermont was up 31-23 by halftime, then hit a 39-28 deficit for a 62-59 defeat. TJ Long led the team with 18 points, and TJ Hurley added 16 points in the loss. Vermont will face Delaware and Fairfield following this game.

I’m going to try Buffalo. The Bulls are coming off a bad first half against Bryant, ultimately shooting 35.8 percent from the field, 21.4 percent (6-of-28) from outside, and 66.7 percent (20-of-30) from the line. Buffalo was also out-rebounded 52-37 and had 16 turnovers. There’s plenty to improve on here.
As for Vermont, they’ve been below 60 points in each of their last three games and below 68 points in all four so far. The Catamounts may be able to flirt with the 70-point mark here though, depending on how well the Bulls are playing. I’m leaning toward Buffalo; the line seems generous enough for the Bulls to get in there if all goes well.
