I’ll stick with Bowling Green I suppose. Probably not touching this one, though. The Falcons shot very well (52.6 percent) from the field in their home win over Eastern Michigan, tossing in a stellar 69.2 percent (9-of-13) from 3-point range for good measure. Bowling Green added a 29-27 rebounding edge and just nine turnovers as well. The Falcons are just 2-3 in their last five games, but they’re still scoring well with 83 or more points in four of those five.
As for Western Michigan, they couldn’t keep up with a hot-shooting Akron team in their last game, giving up 56.7 percent from the floor and 57.1 percent (20-of-35) from outside. The Broncos did shoot 55.7 percent from the field themselves, though. WMU is also scoring very well during their own rough 1-4 run, posting 76 or more points in all five of those games.
