Over on the Navy side, they also opened up the year at 4-5. The losses during that time were versus Yale, Penn State, North Carolina, UNC Wilmington and SE Louisiana. Since then it’s been a four-game win streak for the Midshipmen as they’ve taken out Delaware State, Air Force, Coppin State and Rosemont. That gives Navy an 8-5 record so far this year.
In the Rosemont game the Midshipmen gave up just 12 points in the first half and 11 after the break on the way to a blowout win 70-23. Donovan Draper led the way on 15 points with six boards and Aidan Kehoe had 10 rebounds with nine points. Mike Woods managed 11 rebounds, five assists and four points in 24 minutes during the winning effort as well.

Boston U vs Navy Prediction
I’ll stick with Navy I suppose. The Midshipmen are coming off a blowout win versus an overmatched Rosemont team in their last outing. Navy shot 45.1 percent from the field in that one with 50 rebounds and 18 team assists. The Midshipmen held the opposition to just 12.5 percent shooting and 16 rebounds on the other side, and most of the roster got a good amount of minutes. That makes four straight wins for Navy, and they’ve held opponents below 60 points in each of those.
As for Boston U, they shot a nice 66 percent from the field with 25 rebounds and 44 points in the paint in their latest win over UMass Lowell. The Terriers had been below 65 points in consecutive games prior to that, so the 88 points were nice to see. Boston U should be able to keep relative pace here but I don’t think they’ll cover in the end.
