The Knights managed a .500 record across their first eight games this year, beating Hanover, the Citadel, Houston Christian and Midway University in that quartet. Bellarmine vs West Georgia Prediction
I’ll lean toward West Georgia but I’m probably staying away. The Wolves couldn’t stay close to a good Georgia team in their last outing, shooting just 35.7 percent from the field with a 50-30 rebounding deficit and 15 turnovers. West Georgia also got blasted in the paint 52-22 along the way. That makes 70 or more points in three straight games for West Georgia, but they’re just 1-2 in that time.
As for Bellarmine, they shot well (52 percent) and had a 38-34 edge in the paint in their last game versus Kentucky. The Knights also got out-rebounded 29-20 though, and gave up 58.9 percent shooting on the other side. Bellarmine has 68 or more points in 11 of their 12 games this year, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see a good-sized total in this one.
