Arizona Wildcats Betting Preview
It’s been a great season for Arizona so far. Over their opening 21 games, Arizona has beaten Florida, Utah Tech, Northern Arizona, UCLA, UConn, Denver, Norfolk State, Auburn, Alabama, Abilene Christian, San Diego State, Bethune-Cookman, South Dakota State, Utah, Kansas State, TCU, Arizona State, UCF, Cincinnati and BYU in succession for a perfect 21-0 record to start the year.
In their last game versus BYU, the Wildcats were in the locker room with a comfortable lead on the road 44-31. Arizona had to hang on during a wild second half and a 52-42 deficit but still ended up with the big win 86-83. Brayden Burries led the way on 29 points with five rebounds and four assists while Jaden Bradley had 26 points with three rebounds and three assists.
Arizona State Sun Devils Betting Preview
Over on the Arizona State side, they notch a solid 9-2 run over their first 11 games this year. The only blemishes were versus Gonzaga and USC during that stretch. Arizona State has since gone just 2-8 in the last 10 games, though. Those losses have come courtesy of UCLA, Oregon State, Colorado, BYU, Arizona, Houston, West Virginia and UCF. Over the first 21 games of the season that gives the Sun Devils an 11-10 overall record.
Matched up against UCF on Tuesday the Sun Devils held a four-point edge 39-35 by the end of the first half. Arizona State was outscored 44-37 the rest of the way however, leading to a 79-76 defeat on the road in the end. Moe Odum was the team’s leading scorer on 18 points with six assists and two rebounds while Anthony Johnson added 12 points and five boards.

Arizona vs Arizona State Prediction
I’ll stick with the Wildcats. Arizona is coming off a wild win on the road over a very good BYU team, shooting 52.8 percent from the field and 81.3 percent (26-of-32) from the line. The Wildcats added a 34-26 edge on points in the paint and a 34-31 rebounding advantage but also had 13 turnovers along the way. Arizona is scoring great this year, with a 68 or more points in every game so far.
In their first meeting this year, the Wildcats took out the Sun Devils 89-82 at home on January 14. In that one Arizona shot well (54.2 percent) and hit 21 of their 26 free throws (80.8 percent) with a 46-22 edge in the paint and a 38-22 rebounding advantage. The Wildcats were a little permissive on defense though, with 47.8 percent shooting allowed. Still, Arizona should be in a good position to power one out on the road if they continue to play to their capabilities.
