I’ll probably just stay with Boise State here. The Broncos didn’t have much issue with Texas Southern in their last outing, holding the Tigers to just 28.6 percent shooting alongside a 56-26 rebounding edge. That win came on the heels of an OT victory versus a good Saint Mary’s team and a 1-2 stretch that included a couple of close losses to decent squads.
As for Air Force, they made a game of it against Northern Colorado but couldn’t overcome an abysmal 1-of-18 (5.6 percent) from 3-point range and 19-of-33 (57.3 percent) from the line. The Falcons were also out-rebounded 39-23, so it’s something of a wonder that they only lost by five. In any case, the Falcons have given up 70 or more points in three of the last four games (a 1-3 run), so Boise State shouldn’t have too many scoring issues here.
