I’ll stick with Arizona but the line’s too thick to mess with. The Wildcats beat a great Alabama team at Legacy Arena over the weekend despite starting slowly. Arizona ended up shooting 42.9 percent from the field with 48 rebounds, 16 team assists and just four turnovers. The Wildcats outscored the Tide 44-20 in the paint as well. That gives Arizona 96 or more points in four straight games and a nice 69 or more points in every game so far this year.
As for Abilene Christian, they shot 50 percent from the field and 19-of-23 (82.6 percent) from the line in their win over New Mexico State. The Wildcats did cough up 13 turnovers though, and got outmuscled on the boards 26-23. Abilene Christian has won three straight with 71 or more points in each of those outings. Tuesdays’ matchup is going to be a tough one, though.
