Florida Atlantic Owls Betting Preview
The Owls have had a pretty choppy season so far, but they’ve been able to remain above the .500 mark by a handful of games. FAU hit a .500 run at 9-9 over their first 18 games, but then won six of the next seven. The lone loss was versus North Texas; otherwise it was wins over Rice, UTSA, South Florida, Tulsa, Charlotte and Temple. Losses came in four of the next five games though, as Florida Atlantic fell to Wichita State, Memphis, North Texas and UAB (with a win over South Florida mixed in). Since then it’s been a pair of victories over East Carolina and Charlotte, though. That gives the Owls an 18-14 overall run through 32 games so far this year.
On Thursday versus Charlotte in tournament play, the Owls were up 29-27 going into the break. FAU hit a 35-32 run the rest of the way, taking a 64-59 win in the end. Matas Vokietaitis led the team on 17 points with seven rebounds and two assists.

Tulane Green Wave Betting Preview
Over on the Tulane side, they’ve been on a sketchy run for most of the year but have managed to stay well above the .500 mark overall. The Wave went a tepid 10-8 over their first 18 outings of the season, then hit a 5-3 stretch that featured losses to Temple, Memphis and North Texas among wins over Rice, Tulsa, UTSA, Rice again and East Carolina. Since then it’s been a 3-2 run with losses to Wichita State and East Carolina mixed with wins over Charlotte, Tulsa and UAB in that time. That gives the Wave an 18-13 overall record across 31 games this year.
In the UAB matchup on Sunday, the Wave were down by one point 38-37 going into the second half. Tulane hit a 48-30 run the rest of the way however, taking the win in the end 85-68. Tops in scoring was Kam Williams on 24 points with three rebounds, two steals and two blocks. Asher Woods added 20 points, five assists and three rebounds, while Rowan Brumbaugh doubled up with 11 points, 11 assists, five rebounds and three steals.

Florida Atlantic vs Tulane Prediction
I’ll lean toward Tulane, but you could make a case either way. The Wave had a spotty first half at home in their last outing versus a pretty good UAB team but everything worked out well in the end. Tulane shot a nice 54 percent from the field in that one with 13-of-27 (48.1 percent) from outside, 30 rebounds and 22 team assists. That makes three wins in the last four games for the Wave, with 78 or more points in all three wins.
These teams last met back on January 15 in an 80-65 home win for Tulane. In that one the Green Wave posted a solid 46.3 percent from the field but really excelled at the line on 23-of-27 (85.2 percent) there. FAU did have a 37-33 rebounding edge, but also coughed up 15 turnovers for 12 Wave points. Ultimately I like Tulane to notch another victory here if they can keep the shooting going.
