Clemson Preview: Can the Tigers Replicate Their Round of 64 Effort?
Clemson comes in at 22-11 after defeating New Mexico in the Round of 64, 77-56. Before that win, Clemson lost to Wake Forest and Boston College. The Tigers took being underdogs personal by ending the Lobos season, but they’ll face a stiffer test here with the Bears this Sunday. Clemson is scoring 77.4 points per game, on 46.4% shooting, while allowing 70.8 ppg, and they’re 6-4 over their previous ten games.

- Atlanta native Chase Hunter led the way with 21 points against the Lobos, and he’s up to 12.8 ppg.

Baylor Preview: Bears Seeking Different Results This March
Baylor moved to 24-10 after defeating Colgate in the Round of 64, 92-67. The Bears bullied the Raiders early, and they’ll look to bring the same energy to the Tigers in Memphis. Baylor is scoring 80.9 points per game, on 48.6% shooting, while allowing 71.1 ppg, and they’re 6-4 over their previous ten games. Baylor finished 4th in the Big 12 standings, where Houston was 1st.

Clemson vs Baylor Prediction: Bears Avoid Third Straight Road of 32 Defeat
Clemson came thru with an assertive victory over New Mexico, but I don't think they'll be able to push Baylor around the same way. The Bears have watched their last two seasons end in the second round, so you can bet they’ll come out with an added edge, in order to make it past the first weekend since their national championship winning season back in 2021. The Tigers looked good in round one and won’t be an easy out, but this feels like a spot to trust the favorites in, so let’s back Baylor to advance to the Sweet 16 this Sunday.
