Oregon Betting Preview
Oregon had a sketchy run in the middle of the regular season, going just 6-8 at one point. The Ducks would finish off with a win over Utah though, then plowed through the conference tournament. Those tourney wins came versus UCLA, Arizona and Colorado in succession.
Matched up against South Carolina in their First Round game, the Ducks were able to keep their run going. Oregon got off to a 34-29 halftime edge, then closed on a 53-44 run for an 87-73 win. Leading team scorer Jermaine Couisnard put up 40 posts with six assists in the victory.
Creighton Betting Preview
Over on the Creighton side, they were sitting at 16-7 overall back in early February. The Bluejays closed on a nice 7-1 run, though. An 80-66 loss to St. John’s was the only blemish in that time. Creighton suffered an early exit in the conference tournament versus Providence 78-73. Creighton won four of the last five games, including the one over Seton Hall.
On Thursday versus Akron, the Bluejays were up by five points going into the second half. Creighton closed on a 38-26 run and took the victory 77-60 in the end. Ryan Kalkbrenner was the top team scorer, providing 23 points with eight rebounds and one assist in 38 minutes of work.

Oregon vs Creighton Prediction
I’ll take a stab on Oregon. This one seems like a coin flip, though. The Ducks looked pretty darn good in the South Carolina game, hitting 59.6 percent from the field with a 32-26 rebounding advantage. Oregon was decent from the line (80 percent) and had 16 team assists in a well-rounded effort. The Ducks have now scored a combined 162 points after three straight with fewer than 69 points in each.
As for Creighton, they shot 56.5 percent from the field with 58.8 percent (10-of-17) from 3-point range in their latest win. The Bluejays did commit 14 turnovers for 14 Zips points, though. Creighton is scoring pretty well themselves these days, so Oregon is going to have to keep the offense flowing here in order to keep pace. I like a high-total finish in this one; should be a fun one to check out.
