Colorado Buffaloes Betting Preview
The Buffaloes weren’t playing great in the middle of the season and at one point went just 5-7 in January/February. Colorado would recover on an eight-game win streak though, beating USC, Utah, California, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah again and Washington State in that time.
In their conference tournament matchup versus Oregon on Saturday, the Buffaloes’ streak came to an end. Colorado was down 33-30 at the break and didn’t get any closer in a 75-68 loss. Tops in scoring was KJ Simpson with 23 points, six boards and four assists in the defeat.
Florida Gators Betting Preview
Over on the Florida side, they finished off their regular season on a tough 3-3 run. The wins in that time were over Vanderbilt, Missouri and Alabama; the losses were versus Alabama, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. The Gators took out Georgia, Alabama and Texas A&M in the conference tournament, though.
On Sunday in the championship, the Gators couldn’t topple Auburn. Florida came out of the break with a 38-30 deficit, then closed on a 48-37 run for an 86-67 loss. Leading team scorer Zyon Pullin managed 15 points with seven rebounds and two assists in the losing effort.

Colorado vs Florida Prediction
I’ll stay with Florida. The Gators had a great run through the conference tournament before running up against a hot Auburn squad. Florida wasn’t able to do much damage offensively in that one, hitting just 1-of-13 (7.7 percent) from 3-point range and 36.4 percent from the field. Otherwise the Gators didn’t play too badly against a tough opponent. Florida had scored 85 or more points in three straight (all wins) prior to that, though.
As for Colorado, they shot a tepid 41.7 percent from the field and coughed up 13 turnovers for 23 Ducks points in their last game. The Buffaloes have been below 69 points in consecutive games, but had scored 72 or more in seven straight prior to that. I like a pretty competitive matchup on Friday, with Florida eking out an eventual cover. Should be a fun one.
