Oregon Preview
The Oregon Ducks are 23-11 (12-8) this season after they defeated Colorado by a score of 75-68 in the PAC-12 Championship game. Oregon was on the outside looking in for the Tournament prior to the conference tourney, but they beat UCLA, Arizona, and Colorado to get the automatic bid. The Ducks were not playing very well prior to the conference tournament, where they had lost three of their last five games and they finished just 12-8 in conference play. Oregon doesn’t have many solid out of conference wins, but they did beat Washington State, Colorado, and Arizona in conference play. The Ducks are scoring 75.3 points per game with 34.2 rebounds per game and 13.8 assists per game, while allowing 71.9 points against per game this year. Oregon vs South Carolina Betting Prediction
This should be one of the best games of the first round in my opinion and I am excited to see it play out. South Carolina had a great season in the SEC, but they were dominated by Auburn twice and lost against LSU over the last few weeks. Oregon went on a great run in the PAC-12 tournament to get into this game, but they had struggled to close out the regular season. South Carolina likes to rely on their defense, but they have scored at least 80 points in three of their last five games. Oregon has played very strong on the defensive end of the court during this four game winning streak, so we may see a lower scoring game here. Like I said, this should be a great game, but I am leaning towards South Carolina. I think South Carolina was the more consistent team during conference play and I am taking them here.
