Xavier does have decent wins over Villanova, St. John’s, Butler, Seton Hall, and St. Mary’s. The Musketeers are scoring 75.8 points per game with 38.1 rebounds per game and 16.2 assists per game, while giving up 74.5 points against per game this season. Quincy Olivari is averaging 19.4 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 2.1 assists per game. Xavier is shooting 43.5% from the field, 74.4% on free throws, and 34% on three pointers this year.
Georgia vs Xavier Betting Prediction
Both of these teams were right around the .500 mark on the season and will battle it out in the First Round of the NIT. Xavier had a pretty solid conference season against some very tough opponents and they were able to rack up a few quality wins. Georgia started the season with a 12-3 record, but they fell apart very quickly in conference play. The Bulldogs do have the home court advantage, where they were 12-6 this season, while Xavier was only 3-8 on the road. I do think Xavier is the better team in this matchup, but I am not sure how motivated they are going to be for this game, especially on the road. This game could go either way, but I am going to take the better team, in my opinion. Take Xavier here.
