The St. Bonaventure Bonnies and the Duquesne Dukes meet Saturday in the college basketball A-10 Tournament semifinals at the Barclays Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a St. Bonaventure vs. Duquesne Prediction.
St. Bonaventure Team Preview
The St. Bonaventure Bonnies come into this one looking to go on to the championship game after making it to the semis with a 75-74 win over Loyola-Chicago last time out. Chad Venning leads the Bonnies in scoring with 14 PPG along with 5 RPG while Mika Adams-Woods has 13 PPG with 2.3 RPG and a team-high 3.6 APG on the year. Charles Pride has 11 PPG with a team-high 5.7 RPG to lead the Bonnies on the glass and to finish off the group of double-digit scorers for the Bonnies so far this season. Moses Flowers also has 9.9 PPG as well for the Bonnies this season. As a team, St. Bonaventure is averaging 73.8 PPG on 46.1% shooting from the field, 37.3% from three and 76.9% from the foul line this season.

Duquesne Team Preview
The Duquesne Dukes booked their spot in the semifinals after a 65-57 win over Dayton last time out. Dae Dae Grant leads the Dukes in scoring with 16.7 PPG along with 3.5 RPG and 2.3 APG while Jimmy Clark III has 15.1 PPG with 3.2 RPG and a team-high 3.8 APG to lead the Dukes in the assist department as the only other double-digit scorer for Duquesne this season. Fousseyni Drame also has 7.1 PPG with a team-high 5.3 RPG to lead the Dukes on the glass this season. As a team, Duquesne is averaging 71 PPG on 43.7% shooting from the field, 33.3% from three and 72.1% from the foul line this season.
St. Bonaventure vs. Duquesne Prediction
I’m on the Dukes here. I know the Bonnies are talented and have a solid offense, but Duquesne’s defense negates whatever advantages the Bonnies have and St. Bonaventure’s been more than vulnerable defensively multiple times in this tournament. The Dukes also swept the regular season meetings between the two and I think Duquesne completes the trifecta here. Give me Duquesne.
Chris’s Pick Duquesne -1
