The Duquesne Dukes come into the conference tournament as the 6-seed, finishing the year with an overall record of 20-11 including a 10-8 mark in A-10 conference play. Dae Dae Grant leads the Dukes in scoring with 16.7 PPG along with 3.5 RPG and 2.3 APG while Jimmy Clark III has 15.1 PPG with 3.2 RPG and a team-high 3.8 APG to lead the Dukes in the assist department as the only other double-digit scorer for Duquesne this season. Fousseyni Drame also has 7.1 PPG with a team-high 5.3 RPG to lead the Dukes on the glass this season. Saint Louis vs. Duquesne Prediction
I’m on Duquesne here. I get the allure of points with Saint Louis after picking up a win in the first round, but Duquesne is the better team in this matchup and dispatched of Saint Louis rather easily in the lone meeting this season. This isn’t the same Saint Louis team of years past. This Saint Louis team doesn’t have the same fight and grit of past teams and I think Duquesne gets the job done here.
