Cam Morris III has 10.3 PPG with 6 RPG to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for UMass-Lowell up to this point in the year. Saint Peter’s Edged Out By FDU
The Saint Peter’s Peacocks come into this one looking to rebound from a narrow 71-70 loss at the hands of Fairleigh Dickinson in their last matchup. Michael Houge leads the Peacocks in scoring with 13.3 PPG along with 5 RPG while Marcus Randolph and Corey Washingto each have 10.7 PPG with Washington logging 6 RPG on the year. Latrell Reid has 10 PPG with 4.3 RPG and a team-high 5 APG to lead the Peacocks in the assist department while rounding out the group of double-digit scorers for Saint Peter’s so far this season. As a team, Saint Peter’s is averaging 68 PPG on 39.3% shooting from the field, 32.4% from three and 85.2% from the foul line this season.
I’m sticking with UMass-Lowell here. I think the River Hawks are one of the best mid-major teams in the country, and I honestly think they were really unlucky to not beat Arizona State last time out. Saint Peter’s is a decent team, but they sometimes forget to score to give themselves a chance in games and I just think that UMass-Lowell does enough to get the win and cover here.
