Kasen Harrison leads Winthrop in scoring with 14.7 PPG as well as 3.3 RPG while Kelton Talford has 14.3 PPG with 3.7 RPG and K.J. Doucet has 12.7 PPG with 3.7 RPG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Winthrop so far this season. Nick Johnson also has 9.7 PPG with 3.7 RPG while Sin’Cere McMahon has 7 PPG with a team-high 2.3 APG to lead Winthrop in the assist department this season. I’m going to side with Holy Cross here. The Crusaders have been in pretty much every game they’ve played so far with last time’s loss to Sacred Heart being their biggest loss of the season so far at 7 points. The Crusaders are also shooting the rock a lot better than Winthrop, and you have to wonder if Holy Cross would have a better record if they just simply made more free throws. I get Winthrop has the home court edge here hosting this event, but I think Holy Cross gives them a game. Give me Holy Cross.
