Wake Forest Looks to Bounce Back

Wake Forest opened up the season against a dominant win, but they struggled in the last game. After scoring 101 points against Elon in the first game, Wake Forest was defeated 80-77 at the hands of the Georgia Bulldogs. Wake Forest was led by guard Kevin Miller who finished with 22 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. There were four different players that finished with at least 12 points. Even though Wake Forest won the first game, the defense has been a problem in each of the first two games and they are going to need the defense to be a lot better here.

Utah’s Offense Has Been Dominant

Utah has won each of the first two games and the offense has been dominant in each of the games. Utah was able to beat Utah State 101-66 in the first game and in the last game against UC Riverside, Utah was able to secure the 82-53. Utah used a balanced attack against UC Riverside, and there were five different players that finished with at least 10 points. Lawson Lovering had a strong game putting up 18 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. In this game, Utah is going to need to attack the defense of Wake Forest.

Their defense has been an issue though, and they are going to really struggle here. Utah scored 82 points in the last game and they are going to go well over that number here.
