Another Big Test for Texas A&M Corpus Christi

Texas A&M CC has dominated two lower level teams and in the one game against D1 competition, they really struggled. Against Houston, Texas A&M Corpus Christi scored only 50 points while the defense gave up 82 points and that led to the defeat. In the last game against Dallas Christian College, Texas A&M Corpus Christi scored 104 points and they won in blowout fashion. The Islanders used a balanced attack and it was Lance-Amir Paul that put up 18 points in 14 minutes. There were seven different players that finished with at least eight points.

Texas Tech Offense is an Issue

Texas Tech comes into this game with a 2-0 record overall but in the last game they really struggled. Texas Tech’s offense only managed 56 points and in a game they should have blown out, they only won by 14 points. In the first half they scored only 22 points, and if the offense can’t get it figured out, this team could have some issues this season. Devan Cambridge was the top player for the Red Raiders putting up 15 points and five rebounds. Joe Toussaint put up 10 points, three rebounds, and one assist.

I am not sold on this Texas Tech offense, and they are going to struggle again in this game. Texas A&M’s offense is coming off a game where they scored 104 points and they are going to have no issue running up the score here.
