Vermont Looks for Third Straight Win
Vermont comes into this game after winning their first two games of the season. In the first game they beat Merrimack 67-55 and in the last game against Plattsburgh State they were able to secure the 92-41 victory. At the end of the first half, Vermont was up 51-16 and they never looked back on the way to the victory. TJ Long had a strong game putting up 20 points, one rebound, and one assist. There were four different players that finished with at least 11 points. In this game, Vermont is going to need to get out to a fast start.
Charleston Looks to Bounce Back
The College of Charleston comes into this game with a 1-1 record overall and they were defeated in the last game. Charleston faced off against Duquesne and they were defeated 90-72. In the second half they were outscored 57-35 and that led to the blowout defeat. Kobe Rodgers was the top player for the Cougars putting up 14 points, three rebounds, and one assists. There were four different players that scored at least 10 points per game. In this game the defense is going to need to step up here.
