The Alcorn State Braves come into this one looking to bounce back after falling to 1-2 on the year after a 100-86 loss to Arkansas State in their last game. Jeremiah Kendall leads the Braves in scoring and rebounding, averaging a monstrous double-double per game with 24.5 PPG and 11.5 RPG while Byron Joshua has 13.3 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Alcorn State up to this point in the year. I’m leaning towards the under here. I get Alcorn State’s had some defensive issues so far this season, but UAB isn’t the fastest paced team out there and they’ve been involved in a lot of lower-scoring battles than we’re used to seeing from UAB. The Blazers are battle tested and I think that’ll serve them well, but I just think this line is too high in a game that I have in the low-to-mid 140s. Give me the under here.
