First Big Test for Michigan

Michigan opened up the season with a couple of cupcakes, but they are going to be really tested in this game. In the first game of the season against UNC Asheville, they were able to secure the 99-74 victory. In the second game the offense was again strong, putting up 92 points against Youngstown State, and they were able to win by 30 points. Will Tschetter was the top player putting up 20 points. In this game, it’s going to comedown to if the Michigan defense is going to step up enough.

St John’s Offense Looked Impressive in First Game

St John’s have only played one game so far this season, and they sure looked impressive with their offense. St. John’s scored 90 points against Stony Brook, and that was enough to win by 16 points. St. John’s didn’t miss a whole lot. They ended up shooting over 51 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the three point line. Joel Soriano was the top player for St. John’s putting up 22 points, 11 rebounds, and two assists.

I am not concerned that this game is being played in Madison Square Garden, Michigan is going to get the job done. This Michigan team has had no issue running up the score so far this season, and I expect this St. John’s team is going to really struggle to defend this season.
