Nevada Open Up Season With Win
Nevada faced off against Sacramento State in the first game of the season and they scored 77 points on the way to the victory. The defense was also good giving up only 63 points and they ended up winning by 14 points. Jarod Lucas was the top player for Nevada putting up 18 points, four rebounds, and four assists. There were four different players that finished with at least 10 points per game. In this game, Nevada is going to need the defense to step up in a big way and really put the pressure on Washington.
Washington Looks for Third Straight Win
Washington has opened up the season with a couple of victories. Washington in the first game beat Bellarmine 91-57 and in the last game they beat Northern Kentucky 75-67. In the last game against Northern Kentucky, it wasn’t exactly dominant, but they made enough defensive stops down the stretch to secure the victory. Keion Brooks Jr looks to be the star of the team and in the first game he put up 32 points and 10 rebounds. Sahvir Wheeler also had 18 points, seven assists, and two rebounds.

I expect Nevada is going to have a solid season, and they are going to be competitive in this game. Washington in the last game didn’t really dominate and they aren’t going to dominate in this game. Nevada has a solid offensive team and they are going to find success with their scoring here. Look for the offense by Neveda to be enough to cover this spread. Break Nevada against the spread.
