Lehigh vs North Carolina Prediction -College Basketball Picks 11/12/23

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks and North Carolina Tar Heels face off on Sunday in a college basketball showdown at the Dean Smith Center. 

North Carolina Defense Can’t Get Out to Slow Start

North Carolina comes into this game with a 1-0 record overall, but the first game they didn’t look exactly dominant. In the first half against Radford, the defense gave up 41 points and they were only leading by five. In the second half the defense was a little better and they did pull away on the way to the 86-70 victory. Even though the defense wasn’t good, the offense sure was impressive, and they shot 52.5 percent from the field. They also shot 35 percent from behind the three point line. Armando Barcot did have a satrong game putting up 25 points, 13 rebounds, and one assist. 

Slow Start for Lehigh

Lehigh has played two games so far this season and they have struggled. In the first game against Cornell, Lehigh was defeated 84-78 and in the last game against Penn State they were defeated 74-65. At halftime against Penn State, Lehigh was tied, but in the second half they couldn’t hold on and ended up losing by nine. Lehigh only shot 23.1 percent from behind the three point line and in this game if they want a chance, they are going to need to hit some shots from deep.
