San Diego Coming Off Big Win
San Diego comes into this game with a 2-0 record and although they weren’t dominant in the first game, they sure looked good in Game 2. San Diego faced off against Jackson State, and they scored 87 points on the way to the blowout victory. At halftime they were down four points, but in the second half they scored 52 points. Dragos Lungu had a strong game putting up 20 points, six rebounds and two assists. In this game San Diego can’t get off to a slow start or this is going to be a long game.
Can UC San Diego Keep Up Strong Offense?
UC San Diego faced off against Denver in the first game and they sure looked impressive. The offense scored 95 points and they ended up winning by eight points. In the second half they scored 55 points and they are going to need the strong offense again here. Guard Bryce Pope was the top player for UC San DIego putting up 28 points and two rebounds. Francis Nwaokorie put up 21 points and two rebounds. There were five different players that put up 11 points. In this game look for UC San Diego to run up the score here.
