Corey’s Free Pick
Both squads opened the season by pinning solid mid-major wins to their resume, and this should be another contested battle. Off of an eye test, the length and offensive firepower in the frontcourt of Charleston may give Duquesne trouble here, and I like leaning on that here in that contest. The Cougars had one of the best seasons in school history last year, and while they may not get in 2024 unblemished, they’re trustworthy in this tight spot. Roll with Charleston for this Veterans Classic matchup.
