Davidson Offense Looked Good In First Game
Davidson opened up their season against Washington and Lee and they did exactly what most expected them to do, dominate them. Davidson scored 86 points and that was enough for the 23 points. At halftime they were actually down, but in the second half they pulled away scoring 49 points. Angelo Brizzi had a strong game finishing with 15 points, three assists, and three rebounds. Davidson had five different players score at least 10 points, and they are going to need the offense to step up in a big way here from the whole offense.
Maryland Got Out to Fast Start In First Game
Maryland faced off against Mount St Mary’s in the first game and the defense was elite in the first game. Maryland’s defense gave up only 53 points and thaat was enough for the 15 point victory. Julian Reese had a strong game for Maryland putting up 18 points and eight rebounds. Maryland had three different players that finished with at least 12 points. One area that Maryland could really improve is with the three point shooter. They hit only 18.8 percent of their shots from deep.

Davidson looked dominant in the first game, but this is a huge step up in competition. I do however think they are going to find some success. The three point shooting for Maryland in the first game wasn’t good enough, and they are going to really struggle in this game with hit. Davidson again is going to find some offensive success and that will be enough for Davidson to cover the spread.
