Austin won their first game easily against a much lesser opponent, while Middle Tennessee took care of Northern Kentucky.

Middle Tennessee Preview
The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders are 1-0 this season after they defeated Northern Kentucky by a score of 74-57 in their last game. Middle Tennessee scored 45 points in the first half, but they were only able to score 29 points in the second half. The Blue Raiders shot 42.4% from the field, 37% on three pointers, and 82.4% on free throws in the win. Middle Tennessee was out rebounded by a total of 37-30, had 12 assists, and turned the ball over 12 times in the game. Camryn Weston led the Blue Raiders with 14 points, four rebounds, and five assists, while Elias King added 14 points and four rebounds in the game. Middle Tennessee allowed 57 points on 43.1% field goal shooting in the win.
Stephen F. Austin was able to get an easy win in their first game of the season, but they were not tested at all. Middle Tennessee won by almost 20 points, but they played a Division 1 program and will be more warmed up coming into this game than the Lumberjacks will be. SFA did shoot the ball extremely well in their first game and they tracked down 45 rebounds in the win. Middle Tennessee didn’t shoot particularly well, but they played solid defense in their opener. I think playing a somewhat decent opponent is going to help Middle Tennessee in this game and I like the Blue Raiders here.
