Missouri State has traded their last five games, and they’ll look to abandon that trend here. The Bobcats are 14-3 in Big Sky play, with a 9-5 road record. Junior guard Raequan Battle leads the team in scoring, after consistent play all season at 17:1 ppg. Junior forward Jubrile Belto had one of his stronger outings of the season against Portland State in their home finale, posting a 21-point double-double to bring his averages to 12.6 ppg and 6.1 rpg.
Eastern Washington dropped to 22-8 following a road loss to Idaho State. The Eagles found themselves playing from behind throughout the contest, and they’d fall by eight, 71-63. EWU is scoring 77.1 points per game, while allowing 70.8 ppg, and shooting 49% from the floor.
Eastern Washington has been flawless since Christmas break prior to the loss to the Bengals, and they’ve already clinched the regular season conference crown. The Eagles are 14-3 in Big Sky play, with a 5-5 road record. Sophomore swingman Steele Venters scored a team-high 18 points in the road win over Weber, and he leads EWU in scoring at 14.9 ppg. Senior forward Angelo Allegri posted a 22-point double-double in the win over Northern Colorado, and he’s second on the team in scoring (13.3) and rebounding (5.5).
Montana State is 16-9-1 against the spread this season, with a 10-16 over/under record. Eastern Washington is 17-9-1 ATS this year, with a 16-11 o/u record.
Eastern Washington has already clinched the conference crown, and they head into their home finale ‘pressure-free’. After dropping their first game of 2023, the Eagles may used to this opportunity to wash away last weekend’s loss to the Bengals to hop back into the win column before conference championship time.
