Providence is the number one seed in the tournament, but they are coming off a loss in their last game against Villanova. Providence made a big comeback late, but they were defeated by a point. Providence is averaging 72.5 points while their defense is giving up 66.6 points per game. Center Nate Watson has been the top player for Providence averaging 13.7 points while shooting 56 percent from the field. There are four different players that are averaging at least 10.4 points per game.

Butler pulled off the big upset on Wednesday, but they are going to have tired legs and are facing a well rested team in Providence. The offense is going to be an issue again in this game for Butler, and that is going to be the difference as Providence cruises the victory. In terms of the total, the lack of scoring by Butler will keep this game under the total.
