Houston sits with a 24-4 record and they have gone 17-11 against the spread. In the last game against SMU the defense gave up only 61 points and that led to the easy victory. Houston is averaging 76.3 points while their defense is giving up 59 points per game. Kyler Edwards has been the top player for Houston averaging 13.6 points while shooting 36.8 percent from the field. 

Cincinnati is 1-5-1 against the spread in their last seven games as an underdog. The over is 5-1 in Houston’s last six games following a straight up win. 

Cincinnati has struggled the last seven games as an underdog, and it’s going to be no different in this game. Houston is a strong defensive team, and the Bearcats offense has been inconsistent at best. In this game, Cincinnati is going to struggle to get to 50 points, and that will be the difference as Houston covers the spread.
