Denver at Oral Roberts: 12/30/21 College Basketball Picks and Predictions

The Denver Pioneers and Oral Roberts Golden Eagles face off on Thursday in a college basketball showdown at the Mabee Center. When these two teams faced off in January of 2021 it was Oral Roberts that won 91-82.

Denver comes into this game with a 5-10 record overall but they have gone 9-4 against the spread. The Pioneers have been involved in some close battles as of late including the last game against St. Thomas which they won by a point. Denver is averaging 67.3 points while their defense is giving up 71.1 points per game. Guard KJ Hunt has been the top player for Denver averaging 16.8 points while shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 30.8 percent from behind the three point line. Jordan Johnson has also been good averaging 11.1 points while shooting 36.8 percent from the field and 37.3 percent from the field. 

On the other side of this matchup is the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles who sit with a 7-6 record and they have gone 6-3-1 against the spread. In the last game against South Dakota State, the defense gave up 82 points, and that led to the defeat. Oral Roberts is averaging 80.7 points while their defense is giving up 68.3 points per game. Guard Max Abmas has been the top player for Oral Roberts averaging 21.1 points while shooting 42.9 percent from the field and 43.6 percent from behind the three point line. The Golden Eagles are averaging 65.5 shots per game which is 15th most in college basketball.
