VCU shot 47.3% from the field and 26.3% from beyond the arc while Davidson shot 29.8% from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc. VCU lost the turnover battle by a 14-11 margin, however, did outrebound Davidson by a 39-34 margin in the victory. Leading the way for the Rams was Nah’Shon Hyland who had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, & 1 steal.

Defensively, VCU is holding their opponents to an average of 64.8 ppg on 40.5% shooting from the field. The Rams have a rebound margin of -0.2 and a turnover margin of 2.2.
The 1-seed St. Bonaventure Bonnies was able to advance to the A-10 Championship after defeating the 4-seed Saint Louis Billikens, 71-53, on March 6th. St. Bonaventure was lights out on the defensive end against Saint Louis and had no trouble securing the victory after taking a 50-34 lead with 12:46 left in regulation. The Rams are 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games away from home. The Bonnies are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games and 6-3 ATS in their last 9 March games.
VCU is one against a very good team led by their defense that ranks 43rd in scoring defense & 5th in steals per game, however, the Rams offense can struggle at times as we saw towards the end of the regular season in Davidson & George Mason. St. Bonaventure has won 5 of their last 6 games and have been led this season by their defense that ranks 4th in scoring defense, 7th in defensive FG%, & t-59th in rebound margin. St. Bonaventure has looked great in their first two games in the A-10 Tournament against Duquesne & Saint Louis and between the fact that the Bonnies defeated VCU by a 70-54 margin in the regular season and that I think the Bonnies defense will have success shutting down the Rams offensive attack, I am taking a St. Bonaventure to cover this small spread. Good Luck!
