Colorado shot just 34.4% from the field and 22.2% from beyond the arc while Oregon shot 43.4% from the field and 23.5% from beyond the arc. Colorado outrebounded Oregon by a 43-29 margin, however, did lose the turnover battle by a 17-14 margin in the loss. The Oregon State Beavers snapped their 3-game losing streak and improved to 11-10 on the season after defeating the Utah Utes, 74-56, this past Thursday night. Oregon State was outstanding defensively in the 2nd half against Utah and had no trouble pulling away for the victory after a 15-0 Beavers run gave Oregon State a 53-39 lead with 8:12 left in regulation. Oregon State shot 44.3% from the field and 22.2% from beyond the arc while Utah shot 38.5% from the field and 16.7% from beyond the arc. Oregon State outrebounded Utah by a 36-29 margin and won the turnover battle by a 20-12 margin in the victory. The Buffaloes are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record, however, are just 17-44 ATS in their last 61 road games. The Beavers are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 6-0-1 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games.
Colorado is a solid team that is good defensively and can knock down open shots, however, there is no doubting that the Buffaloes struggle on the road as they come into this game with a 5-6 road record that includes losses at Washington & California. Oregon State has a great player in Ethan Thompson that can matchup against the Buffaloes McKinley Wright IV and between the fact that the Beavers have been great recently ATS at home and that I think their defense can keep this a lower scoring game, I am taking Oregon State and the points in this one. Good Luck!
