The Vikings are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Mastodons are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600, however, are just 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
Cleveland State comes into this series against Purdue Fort Wayne tied with Wright State at the top of the Horizon Standings largely due to their defense that ranks 99th in defensive FG% & 82nd in steals per game. Purdue Fort Wayne has fared well ATS at home against good teams, however, this is a team that is not great on the defensive end as they come into this game ranked just 316th in scoring defense & 270th in defensive FG% and as I think the Vikings come out strong to ensure they at worst, keep up with Wright State, I’m taking the Vikings to cover this mid-range road spread. Good Luck!
