Wofford shot just 29.6% from the field and 25.9% from beyond the arc while UNC-Greensboro shot just 34.5% from the field and 14.8% from beyond the arc. Wofford was outrebounded by UNC-Greensboro by a 41-35 margin, however, won the turnover battle by a 15-14 margin in the victory. The VMI Keydets snapped a 3-game losing streak and improved to 6-5 on the season after defeating the Chattanooga Mocs, 84-79, on January 2nd. VMI had no trouble generating offense against Chattanooga and was able to hold of the Mocs after taking a 74-61 lead with 4:36 left in regulation. Wofford is once again a very solid team in the Southern Conference this season and come into this game ranked 100th in scoring offense & 57th in scoring defense, however, VMI is certainly a team that the Terriers shouldn’t overlook, especially on their home court. VMI has an explosive offense that ranks 51st in scoring offense, & 4th in three-pointers made per game and as I think the Keydets are a bit underrated and should be able to keep this one close, I think the play is to take VMI and the points. Good Luck!
