The IPFW Mastodons (14-18, 6-10 CONF) and the North Dakota Fighting Hawks will meet on Monday, March 9th for a Summit League Semifinal game at a neutral site at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD. The game will be played at 9:30 PM eastern time.
IPFW is coming off a major upset win over South Dakota State, 77-74. South Dakota State was the favorite by many to win not only that game but the entire conference tournament. IPFW will look to use their clear momentum to their advantage in the semifinal game. North Dakota is coming off a bit of an upset win for themselves. North Dakota defeated #3 seed South Dakota in comeback fashion to move on to the semis. Look for both teams to have a jolt of energy on the court after their respective big wins.

The line has not been released yet, therefore I will give my final score prediction and update this article in the morning. This is going to be a great game between two teams that are dying to have a shot at the conference championship and an eventual chance for a ticket to the Big Dance. I think it will be tight for a large portion, but in the end, I like North Dakota to pull it out. North Dakota wins 78-75.
UPDATE: Now that the line has been released, I will have to side with the over in this game.
