The Saint Joseph’s Hawks snapped their 7-game winning streak and improved to 5-21 (1-12 A-10) on the season after upsetting the Davidson Wildcats, 73-72, this past Tuesday. Saint Joseph’s trailed by a 40-21 margin at halftime, however, were outstanding offensively in the 2nd half and were able to pick their first A-10 win on the season after the Hawks Cameron Brown hit the game-winning three-pointer as time expired. The George Mason Patriots lost their 2nd straight game and dropped to 14-12 (3-10 A-10) on the season after being defeated by the Richmond Spiders, 65-50, this past Wednesday night. George Mason had no answers on the offensive end for the Spiders and couldn’t fight back after Richmond took a 55-40 lead with 6:21 left in regulation. George Mason shot just 23.5% from beyond the arc and committed 19 turnovers in the loss. Leading the way for the Patriots was Jordan Miller who had 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.

George Mason comes into this match-up ranked 279th in scoring offense, 146th in scoring defense, and 199th in defensive FG%.
Saint Joseph’s pulled off a huge upset against Davidson earlier this week, however, I’m going to have a hard time taking the Hawks on the road considering their 0-7 on the road in conference play this season with their average loss coming at 21.6 ppg. George Mason has struggled as of late, however, as I expect the Patriots defense to give the Hawks trouble, I’m taking George Mason to cover this large Home spread. Good Luck.
