The Bryant Bulldogs (13-14, CONF 5-9) and St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers (12-14, CONF 6-8) face off in a Northeast conference showdown at the Peter Aquilone Court. The Bulldogs knocked off the Terriers 73-60 in early February.
The Bulldogs have really struggled on the road sitting with a 4-10 and there really isn’t one thing that points to why they do struggle so much.
Away from home the Bulldogs are averaging 68.7 points per game while the defense is giving up 71.7 points.
Over the five games Bryant’s offense hasn’t been as strong, but their defense has been better giving up only 64.2 points and letting opponents shoot 37.5 percent from the field.
The Terriers have been up and down this season, and coming into this game they have lost four of their last six games. Over the last five games St. Francis has been giving up 72 points and letting opponents shoot 41 percent from the field.
The Terriers offense struggled the first game against Bryant putting up only 60 points and that led to the big loss. On offense, St. Francis uses a balanced attack with four players averaging at least 11 points.
The Bulldogs are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The under is 9-4-1 in the Terriers' last 14 games.
The Terriers only scored 60 points in their first game and they know they want to keep this pace slower. Look for the Terriers and Bulldogs to try and slow down the pace of play, which will keep it well under the total.
