Furman comes into this game led by their offense that ranks 36th in scoring offense, 16th in FG%, and 16th in three-pointers made per game.
East Tennessee State has been outstanding on both ends of the court this season and come into this match-up ranked 44th in scoring offense, 24th in FG%, and 29th in scoring defense.
East Tennessee State might have been looking ahead to this game after their lack-luster performance against VMI, but it was slightly concerning that their offense was only able to put up 72 point against a Keydets defense that is ranked T-203rd in scoring defense & T-236th in defensive FG%. Furman was able to take care of business against East Tennessee State at home earlier this season and as I think the Paladins have balance on both ends of the court to keep this one competitive, I’m taking Furman and the points.
