IUPUI struggled defensively agianst Northern Kentucky and couldn’t fight back after the Norse took a 64-50 lead with 9:44 left in regulation. IUPUI shot 42.4% from the field while allowing Northern Kentucky to shoot 52.9% from the field and 47.4% from beyond the arc. The Wright State Raiders won their 3rd straight game and improved to 22-5 (12-2 Horizon) on the season after defeating the UIC Flames, 75-58, this past Friday. Wright State had no trouble shooting down the UIC offense in this one and easily pulled away for victory after taking a 53-37 lead with 14:03 left in regulation. Wright State shot 43.9% from the field while holding UIC to just 34.4% shooting from the field and 22.7% shooting from beyond the arc. The Jaguars are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games, however, are 14-4 ATS in their last 18 Sunday games. The Raiders are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 February games, however, are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games.
The Jaguars have really struggled defensively this season and come into this match-up ranked just 335th in scoring defense, 301st in defensive FG%, and 308th in rebound margin.
Wright State has been outstanding offensively this season and has been led by their offense that ranks 5th in scoring offense, 69th in FG%, and 37th in 3P-FG%.
Wright State has been lights out at home this season and should be able to put up a good amount of points against the Jaguars, however, IUPUI has some solid scoring options in Marcus Burk & Jaylen Minnett that should have some success agianst the Raiders 204th ranked scoring defense. Wright State is going to pick up the win, however, this I think Marcus Burk and the Jaguars offense will do enough to cover with the large amount of points. Good Luck!
