College Basketball: Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:00 pm (Gill Coliseum)
The Line: Oregon State Beavers +2.5 -- Over/Under: 136
The Colorado Buffaloes (19-6, 8-4 CONF) and the Oregon State Beavers (15-9, 5-7 CONF) will meet on Saturday, February 15th for a PAC-12 matchup at the Gill Coliseum in Corvallis, OR. The game will be played at 10:00 PM eastern time.
Colorado is coming off a 68-60 road loss at the hands of the Oregon Ducks on Thursday. That loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Colorado, in which they defeated USC, Cal, and Stanford respectively. Oregon State is coming off a home win over Utah by a score of 70-51. Oregon State has now won back-to-back games, including a ten-point victory over Oregon on the 8th of February.
Colorado struggled to score consistently in the loss to Oregon but put together 72.0 points per game on the season as a whole. Colorado is led by McKinley Wright IV in scoring, as he averages 13.6 points per game. Colorado has defended the ball well this season, as they only allow 62.8 points per game to the opposition. Colorado also earns 37.2 rebounds, 13.9 assists, 3.1 blocks, and 6.1 steals per game.
Oregon State has defended the ball really well recently, only allowing 53 points to Oregon and 51 to Utah. On the season, Oregon State allows 66.9 points per game to the opposition. Oregon State scores 73.2 points per game and they are led by F Tres Tinkle in scoring with 18.6 PPG. Oregon State also earns 33.3 rebounds, 14.8 assists, 5.2 blocks, and 6.3 steals per game.
Colorado is 11-13-1 ATS this season and 5-5 ATS in their last ten games. Colorado is also 3-4 ATS on the road so far this season. Oregon State is 14-10 ATS this season and 4-6 ATS in their last ten games. Oregon State is also 9-4 ATS at home so far this season.
This game should be very exciting and fun to watch from start to finish. Two of the better teams in a really lackluster PAC-12 should battle it out to the end. I think homecourt advantage is key here, and I think the state of Oregon will be Buffaloes fan's least favorite state after the Beavers put down the good ole Oregon sweep of Colorado. Give me Oregon State plus the points at home.
