Weber State (10-15) at Montana State (13-11)
College Basketball: Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 8:00 pm (Max Worthington Arena)
The Line: Montana State -5.5 -- Over/Under: 133
The Weber State Wildcats (10-15, CONF 6-8) and Montana State Bobcats (13-11, CONF, 7-6) compete in a Big Sky showdown at Worthington Arena. The Bobcats knocked off the Wildcats by a point in late January.
Weber State has had some real issues on the road this season, sitting with a 3-7 record and the biggest reason has been because of the defense. Away from home this season the Wildcats are letting opponents score 75 points a game, and shoot almost 50 percent from the field.
The Wildcats offense has also been an issue at times, and they are coming off a loss where they only scored 37 points against Montana. Dima Zdor was the leading scorer for Weber State coming in with only nine points.
The first meeting between the Wildcats and Bobcats this season, Weber State only managed to score 61 points.
The Bobcats are coming into this game hot having won four of the last six games. In Montana State’s last victory over Idaho State, they had four players score in double figures. It has been a balanced attack most of the season for the Bobcats, and it’s something they will look to do again in this game.
The Wildcats are 3-12 ATS in their last 15 road games. The road team is 7-2-1 ATS in the last ten meetings played between the Wildcats and Bobcats.
The over is 17-7 in the Bobcats last 24 games played on Saturday. The over is 8-3 in the Wildcats last 11 games played on Saturday.
The Wildcats offense was a big-time problem in the last game and it will hurt them again. Their 60 points per game averaged on the road won’t be enough for Weber State to get it done. Back the Bobcats to cover the spread.
