The Western Michigan Broncos and the Ohio Bobcats meet in college basketball action from Ohio University Convocation Center on Tuesday.

Western Michigan is currently 11-12 so far. After losing three straight to Buffalo, Northern IL and Central Michigan, the Broncos have won two versus Miami-OH and Ball State.

In the win over the Cardinals, Western Michigan’s Brandon Johnson led the team on 29 points with seven rebounds. Also in double-digits for the Broncos there was Titus Wright with 13 points and four rebounds.

Over on the Ohio side, they’re 11-12 this year also. After falling in four straight to Toledo, Akron, Northern IL and Ball State, the Bobcats got a win in their last game over Miami-OH.

In the win over the Redhawks, Ohio’s Jason Preston notched a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Ben Vander Pas had 18 points and four rebounds there, and both Jordan Dartis and Ben Roderick had 11 points apiece.

The Bobcats are 6-2 ATS in their last eight Tuesday games and 18-37-1 ATS in their last 56 after a straight-up win. Ohio is 5-2 ATS in their last seven overall and the under is 5-2 in their last seven overall.

Meanwhile, the Broncos are 2-6 ATS in their last eight Tuesday games and the over is 4-1 in their last five Tuesday games. The over is also 7-3 in Western Michigan’s last 10 after a straight-up win.

Western Michigan isn’t great in the higher-scoring games. The last three times they’ve scored at least 78 points, they’ve lost. Conversely, the Broncos have posted a 132-124 point advantage across their last two games.

As for Ohio, they were all over the place during that four-game losing streak, but managed a nice outing in the victory over Miami-OH. I’m leaning toward the Bobcats here, but I don’t like the matchup all that well.
