Middle Tennessee had a chance to force OT after training by a 67-61 margin with just :16 seconds left, however the Blue Raiders come back attempt came up short after the Blue Raiders Antonio Green missed a game-tying three-point attempt with just :04 seconds remaining. Middle Tennessee shot 47.1% from the field however, lost the turnover battle by a 15-8 margin in the loss. Leading the way for the Blue Raiders was Jo’Vontae Millner who had 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal.

The UTSA Roadrunners dropped to 10-12 (4-5 C-USA) on the season after being defeated by the UAB Blazers, 76-68, this past Thursday night. UTSA was dominated on the boards against the Blazers and couldn’t fight back after UAB took a 70-64 lead on a pair of Tavin Lovan FT’s with just :44 seconds left in regulation. UTSA allowed UAB to shoot 48.3% from the field and was outrebounded by the Blazers by a 46-24 margin in the loss. Leading the way for the Roadrunners was Keaton Wallace who had 26 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and a steal.
On the season, UTSA is averaging 78.4 ppg on 43.3% shooting from the field. The Roadrunners are averaging 9.9 three-pointers per game on 36.1% shooting from beyond the arc. The Blue Raiders are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 Saturday games and just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win. The Roadrunners are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Middle Tennessee comes into this game ranked 175th in scoring offense, however, the Blue Raiders have really struggled defensively this season as they currently rank just 315th in scoring defense and 312 in defensive FG%.
UTSA hasn’t been much defensively than Middle Tennessee this season as the Roadrunners rank just 323rd in scoring defense, however, UTSA has had some success offensively as they come into this game ranked 31st in scoring offense, 17th in three-pointers made per game, and 59th in 3P-FG%.
UTSA is 8-2 at home this season, while the Middle Tennessee comes into this game losing 12 of their last 13 games while posting just a 1-8 road record. UTSA hasn’t had much success in this series in recent years, however, the Roadrunners should have plenty of success beyond the arc against the Blue Raiders defense and if UTSA can beat Louisiana Tech by a 89-73 margin at home, I think the Roadrunners will be able to do enough to cover this large spread. Take UTSA to cover. Good Luck!
