Ohio is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 road games. Ball State is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 7-3-1 in their last 11 games following a loss. The road team is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings between these two teams and the underdog is 19-6-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings between these two teams.
I get Ball State being favored here at home, but the problem for me is that the Bobcats haven’t been getting killed during this recent losing stretch, and I’m not sure that Ball State is this many points better than the Bobcats, at this stage of the season either. I just think this game is a 4-5 point game so I’ll take my chances with Ohio and the points in this one.
