The Saint Francis Red Flash and the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights meet in college basketball action from Rothman Center on Wednesday.
Saint Francis enters this one at 10-5 so far. Since their last loss to Bryant, the Flash have won their last three straight games, taking out Central CT State, Wagner and St. Francis BK.
In the win over the Terriers, Saint Francis PA’s Isaiah Blackmon put up 19 points with seven rebounds and four assists. Keith Braxton added 13 points with eight boards, and Randall Gaskins had 12 points.
Over on the Knights’ side, they’re 3-12 this year. Fairleigh Dickinson last managed a win over Bryant January 4, and since then they’ve fallen to Sacred Heart and LIU.
In the loss to the Sharks, Fairleigh Dickinson’s Kaleb Bishop led the team on 17 points with six rebounds. Brandon Powell posted 14 points there, and Xzavier Malone had 14 points with three rebounds.
The over is 3-1-1 in the Knights’ last five overall and the over is 9-2-1 in their last 12 after an ATS loss. Fairleigh Dickinson is 7-1 ATS in their last eight Wednesday games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine after an ATS loss.
Meanwhile, the Flash are 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 7-2 ATS in the last nine overall. St. Francis is 6-2 ATS in their last eight after an ATS loss and the over is 6-2 in their last eight after an ATS loss.
Saint Francis has been on a nice scoring run over these last three games, posting at least 80 in each outing. The Flash are a pretty good offensive team this year, and though they’ve suffered a few blowouts St. Francis is normally quite competitive.
As for the Knights, they’ve put up some solid points totals lately as well, with at least 70 in their last three. That said, I still like the Red Flash to bang out a cover in a fun game here.
