Over on the Rutgers side, they drilled Howard 44-7 in their opener and beat Akron 49-17 in game two. The Knights were able to keep their run going over the next pair, taking out Virginia Tech 26-23 and Washington 21-18 in two very close matchups.
In the Nebraska game, Rutgers took their first loss in another tight game. The Knights weren’t able to score until the final quarter in an eventual 14-7 defeat. Athan Kaliakmanis threw for 186 yards, one TD, and two interceptions. Kyle Monangai led the rush with 19 carries for 78 yards.

I’m going with Wisconsin. The Badgers did a nice job keeping Purdue in check during their last outing. Wisconsin gave up just 216 total yards (117 passing), 10 first downs, and a dismal 1-of-11 rate on third downs. Outside of the two interceptions the offense was great, logging 589 yards (361 passing), 8.1 yards per play, and 28 first downs.
As for Rutgers, they weren’t able to get their offense moving too well against a tough Nebraska defense last weekend. The Knights ended up with 264 total yards (186 passing), 18 first downs, two interceptions, and 2-of-14 on third-down tries. This weekend’s game will be another difficult afternoon for scoring if the Badgers are on point.
